They mean a lot to me because I know they work hard for every penny they earn. It’s one of the less expensive items at Tiffany’s but they mean more to me than price and they are one of my most expensive pieces of jewelery I own (not that that should matter). I don’t wear a lot of jewelry but I love earrings. These are classic. They are large and cover the whole earlobe (I don’t mess with small earrings). They’re whimsical. I adore them. I hope one day to get the rose gold ones as long as they have a meaning.

I didn’t even know that they made condolence cards for animals but my cousin sent me one today. It was so thoughtful that she was thinking of my poor kitty. I used to be really close to my cousin when we were kids but we are totally different people now. We rarely communicate with each other so the fact that she still thinks of me sometimes especially now meant a lot to me.

My baby Dusty is gone. He died at 6:00 this morning. He lived a very long and happy life. I stayed with him all night. I am glad that he was able to die at home surrounded by the people he loved. He’s been a part of my life for so long. I’m really down right now. Poor baby. Going to try and get some sleep now.

Made it through my first day. I lovee my classes. My teacher was talking about Vivienne Westwood and London fashion week. My homework for textiles is to make a mood board!! Oh and did you know the pyramids in Egypt used to be covered in white limestone and the tips were made of gold. Actually learning stuff I want to learn for once. .

I’m home now. That means I made it through my doctors appointment without running out. I forgot how much of an asshole my doctor was. Overall it was annoying but tolerable. I have blood tests tomorrow morning. eh.

I just got back from Santa Cruz about an hour ago and when I came home my cat had white paint on his back?. Those damn kids in my neighborhood are getting the evil eye for weeks to come. Why would you do that to a poor elderly cat? Poor Dusty.

I want to nap but I’m waiting for my bestie to text me so I can pick my dog up at her house. I haven’t seen him since 9:00 am yesterday so I miss my puppy!

UC Santa Cruz was not exactly what I expected. It was pretty but contained. So it’s on my maybe list.

People keep unexpectedly coming over and I keep forgetting that I have the proactive mask splotched in various places on my face. I’ve been walking around like it’s completely normal. Just washed it off to avoid any further embarrassment.

Oh and my aunt came to drop off a birthday present which is cool but my birthday was feb. 14th. . haha

This is what the jacket I’ve been working on looks like so far. I have the lining in. I just need to hem the sleeves and attach my buttons. I’m gonna make the buttons black in the same fabric as the collar. I’ve been ignoring it for 2 weeks but I need to finish it before it gets to hot to wear it.
