DIY - Empty Perfume Bottle With Pearls
I have had my empty Chanel Chance bottle since I got back from Paris. Feeling nostalgic I decided to keep the bottle for room decor. Since an empty bottle sitting on a mantel looks a little strange, I decided to spruce it up a bit. I put some fake pearls inside and layered them with sparkly pink stones. I could not be happier with how adorable it came out!
What you will need:
- Empty Perfume Bottle
- Pliers (taking the cap off can get a little tricky)
- Glue Gun
- 8mm and 4mm Glass Beads in Pink, Almond and Ecru
- Light Rose Pointed Back Rhinestone
A private commission for burlesque dancer Lily Faye and her beau. Tattoos are such a pain to draw, especially when I have to re-create actual pieces done by other artists, but so rewarding in the end!
I don’t like short dresses. I can’t seem to control my expression and legs at the same time, the photos always turn out a mess :(
Anyway! Flower dress and headpiece are all finished, step by step instructions for this dress can be found on my blog, and a video tutorial for the headpiece is here!
The whole thing is sheer, but you can’t really tell because the petticoat is white and i’m very pale ;;
It was designed, drafted, made, and worn by me! Took 16-ish hours to make, spread over a seven day period. Has about sixty dollars worth of fake flowers in it and several yards of silk organza, poly chiffon, and tulle.
I was a fun and easy little project. I enjoyed it.
I want to get married in this dress
